RE: Darts
I will never know how Glen Durrant just won his match. 0-3 down and Paul Hogan had several darts to win, but Durrant stuck in there and has squeezed through 4-3. Will need to up his game MASSIVELY if he wants to win the title.

RE: Darts
I noticed Martin Adams stuffed last year's finalist Jeff Smith 4-1 in the afternoon.

Martin.Adams hit 8/9 to go 3-1 up in sets and then could barely hit a double and lost 5-4.

Yeah, I saw the very end, a leg where he was miles ahead, but still lost. Oh well, new faces, new chances.

Noppert beat Waites, plays Fitton in the semis
Durrant versus Hughes in the other

Feels like old vs new to me Smile

RE: Darts
It's Noppert's to lose now. He has been the best, most consistent player, by far. My only worry is if he does win it, will he stay with the BDO or grab uncle Barry's poxy PDC tour card and jump ship. If he's wise he'll stay another year then possibly make the move. He would be exposed in the PDC if he goes this year. Good player, but needs more experience.

Pleased for Lisa Ashton, didn't drop a set all week Smile

Hopefully Noppert wipes the grimace off Durrant's face.

Well, I'm chuffed to be right, for once. The two best players have reached the final, and it could be the best BDO final in years. Close one to call. Either Durrant will sneak it by a set or two, or Noppert will blow him out the water. Given those two scenarios.... I'm predicting Durrant to lift his first World title.

I was going to edit the above post but decided to write this separately.
I'd like to add that while I think Durrant will win, just, I DO also think that Noppert winning would be better, in the long run, for the BDO. Especially if he stays another year or two. He could become the face/name of the BDO quite easily. And then there'd be the clamour for him to jump to the PDC and mix it with MVG and co.
