"work out without intelligence" - you've stated my point beautifully. Why not simply have the patience to wait for decent quality information on which to base a theory. Look back on this thread and you'll find some absolute nonsense conspiracy theories.

Can I just say I have no problem with the reasoned theories on the scant evidence so far as regards mechanical problems or a decompression resulting in a so-called zombie plane. But there are several people on this thread throwing out hijacking and grand 9/11esque plots as if they have firm grounds to do so. Until the first piece of actual wreckage is found and then crucially the black boxes (which sadly is looking like that could take months/years to happen) then it is all just speculation - and wild speculation in many cases.

I have never said people haven't the right to discuss this at all. After all its a modern day mystery and hard not to find it intriguing.

However, I just feel that too many people are taking the bureaucratic and incompetent response of the airline and the Malaysian govt and running off into "must be a big conspiracy" land.

I am willing to listen to other arguments, but someone looks to have disabled all communications from this plane including the transponder, then flew back over Malaysia and from there followed established navigational waypoints towards central Asia and Europe, putting the plane on a north west heading. When he was out of radar range he then turned left and headed south and if it wasn't for these satellite pings which he probably didn't know about the plane would have effectively vaished into thin air, leaving everyone baffled and searching to the north. On the basis of these events I'm confident that there was a deliberate attempt to put this plane somewhere where it would never be found.
