What TV show did you last watch?

Star Trek: Picard Eps 2 and 3. It gets better each episode, I'm really enjoying it so far.

He was a right old scene-stealer, made a fortune off The Towering Inferno, and died at 50. Among the contributors, besides his wives, were Gary Oldman, Pierce Brosnan and Randy Couture, but most moving was Robert Vaughn, this must have been among the last things he did before he died.

The Desert Generals on PBS America

WW2 in North Africa 1941/42 presented by Tim Collins who was a batallion commander in The Iraq war and is famous for his "Eve of Agincourt" speech in 2003.

Tim thinks that Stalingrad and the Eastern Front were a mere sideshow and the war was won in Libya and Egypt by Ulsterman like himself.

Trouble is he's got the first bit the wrong way round and the two key allied commanders although from Ulster families were born in Aldershot (Auchinleck) and South London (Monty).

The programme was made in 2006 by the BBC and was called "The Ulster Generals". I'm not sure if PBS changed the title because Collins' thesis was so flimsy or because Americans know what a desert is but haven't got a clue what an Ulster is.

SKY+ recording BBC2 Good Omens ep5, I really like this series, it's mad and completely different from other sci-fi type things. Michael Sheen and David Tennant are excellent as the Angel and Demon respectively and a good cast including the kids who aren't schmaltzy as you get in some US programmes. Jack Whitehall and Michael McKean go well too(he of course was in the hilarious Spinal Tap)

Fully agree about Good Omens, watched ep6 that was on BBC2 last night and it ended the season perfectly

Sorry that should have been ep4 not 5 still got two to go. Has it been renewed for another season?

Star Trek: Picard s1 ep 5 “Stardust City Rag”

Good Omens final two episodes. What can I say, absolutely brilliant, it was worth it just spotting the big names in it for a start and the special effects were very good. I wouldn't be surprised if this was named in the BAFTA TV awards NEXT year. I am not sure if there is a sequel planned, not sure if that is possible but this has been one of the BEST BBC series/Amazon Prime productions for ages(including Line of Duty, Bodyguard and The Capture of course) Great cast, some genuinely scary moments and a sparkling script. Music by ex-Bond maestro David Arnold as well.
