King Kong Escapes(1967)
Ishiro Honda directs this crazy effort in which an evil scientist named Dr.Who,builds a robotic version of King Kong that he names Mechani-Kong.Meanwhile,the real Kong is stuck on Mondo Island.I'm not making this up!
Worth it only for a few laughs.

Timebomb(1991)
Another good guy on the run flick, this time with a Total Recall type twist.Inexplicably pursued by a squad of high powered henchman, mild mannered watchmaker Eddy Kay (Michael Biehn)freaks out as long lost skills and memories gradually resurface. Kidnapping local psychiatrist Anna Kolmar(Patsy Kensit)for therapy, sidekick support and eventual love interest.Eddy sets out to unravel the mystery of his erased former life.Naturally,a lot of people have to die-and die horribly before this is possible.Particularly special is the payoff to one punch up,where Eddy swiftly wraps a villain's head in a clean, white sheet and proceeds to elbow his face into a crimson mash. Now that's entertainment.
The rest of the film is spoiled by silly plot developments which don't make sense.Directior Avi Nesher can handle the action and carnage very well but that's about it.Without Michael Biehn's skill as an actor, this would be nothing at all.

10 Rillington Place(1971)
Richard Attenborough puts in a brilliant and chilling performance as serial killer John Christie.Directed by Richard Fleischer from the book on Christie by Ludovic Kennedy. This was the third and last true crime film from Fleischer behind Compulsion(1959) and The Boston Strangler(1968).

Under Your Hat(1940)
A good comedy about a worried wife played brilliantly by Cicely Coutneige, who gets a job as a maid in order to keep an eye on her husband, who is a secret agent.Jack Hilbert is also very good as the husband.

The Vampire Lovers(1970)
Roy Ward Baker directs Ingrid Pitt as Marcella Karnstein.A character based on J.Sheridan Le Fanu novella Carmilla. One of the so called Karnstein trilogy of lesbian themed films from Hammer. It contains gratuitous nudity in places but the seduction scene with Ingrid Pitt and Madeleline Smith as Emma Morton is genuinely erotic. The final payoff is brilliantly over the top,as General Von Spielsdorf played by Peter Cushing kills Karnstein by driving a stake through her heart and then, just to make sure.Decapitates her
