Goliath and the Dragon[aka La Vendetta do Ercole[(1960)
Vittorio Cottafavi directed this Italian sword and sandal epic that not only features a pretty impressive dragon,it also has Broderick Crawford putting in a great turn as King Eurystheus. Also starring Mike Forest.

Horrors of the Black Museum(1959)
Michael Gough is an author with his own private museum of torture devices. He hypnotises his assistant to commit an escalating series of horrible crimes so that he can merely have something to write about.A spookily shot and genuinely creepy film directed by Arthur Crabtree.

Loot(1970)
A really good comedy about two men who are planning a bank robbery but can't think of a suitable place to hide the loot.Richard Attenborough,Hywel Bennett and Lee Remick all excel in the main roles.Based on the play by Joe Orton.

The Return of Dr.X(1939)
Vincent Sherman directed Humphrey Bogart as the brilliant Dr.Xavier, who needs a rare blood type in order to stay alive and resorts to immoral actions to get it..The was the only time in his career that Bogart acted in a horror film.Shame because he puts in a confident and convincing performance in this.

The Food Of The Gods(1976)
Bert I.Gordon directed this very low rent and very loose adaptation of the excellent H.G Wells novel,The Food of the Gods and How It came to Earth(1904).Despite some good moments here and there,Gordon didn't have enough of a budget to do justice to Well's novel and it just looks all too cheap.
