My Neighbour Totoro(1988)
Arguably the most beloved film in Studio Ghibli's back catalogue. It blends the animation house's twin pillars of fantasy and pared back naturalism in one enchanting story.

Stanley(1972)
William Grefe directs this simple revenge story.A young Seminole Indian uses rattlesnakes to punish those who have wronged him. Some hammy dialogue and cheesy acting in places spoil the fun but, overall a well executed b movie.

Blow Out(1981)
Sort of splice together Coppola's The Conversation and Antonio's Blow Up and you get this excellent thriller from Brian De Palma.John Travolta puts in one of the best performances of his career as a sound recordist who stumbles upon a political conspiracy involving murder.

House On Haunted Hill(1959)
An eccentric millionaire invites five young people to a party at a house which is supposed to be haunted.Whoever is brave enough to stay the entire night will receive $10,000.A creepy and unnerving black and white classic from William Castle.Vincent Price and Carol Ohmart both excel in the lead roles.

Death Race 2000(1975)
Roger Corman produced this vision of the future where vehicular manslaughter is the most popular form of entertainment.Silly but great fun thanks to good work from David Carradine and the direction of the very talented Paul Bartel.

13 East Street(1952)
A tense and very suspenseful crime drama directed by Robert Baker.A detective risks everything by posing as an escaped convict in a last ditch effort to catch a gang of robbers responsible for looting a number of warehouses. With good performances form Patrick Hoult and Michael Balfour.
