Tea taken with England 135/3. Pietersen was caught but the fielder overstepped the boundary, plus Watson has gone off the field injured. For a change a few things have gone England's way today, but it's been a hard slog for England nonetheless.

So far England's batsmen all getting in but still not going on to make a significant score.

The end of the day score is England 226-6

Our only hope is that the bowlers can hang around long enough for KP to find another gear & get close to 300.

Agree and if we do get close to 300 still have a chance. Aussies have yet to bat (and bat probably last) on a pitch that will be more suited to our bowlers than the wickets so far in this series.

The 300 is looking a long way off, now that Bresnam and Pietersen are out in Mitchel Johnson's 1st over.
