Bray & Randy was a disappointment for me where the only standout thing was the odd photoshot of the ring with the maggots then worms. It was as if we was waiting for something to happen in the match that didn't occur (Sister Abigail etc). The match was like reading a book only to find some fucker has ripped out the last ten pages.
As for the Undertaker & Reigns match I can clearly see why it was left till last other than it being the Undertakers last match. The match itself sucked balls & pretty much ruined an okay PPV.As soon as I heard it was a No DQ match I thought it was a sure bet that either Kane or Braun Strowman would clear the way & help an injured Undertaker in his farewell match.
In hindsight the only purpose of the No DQ was that Reigns can beat Undertaker with the chair before hitting upteen superman punches & a spear.
I'm not one of those Roman haters but I don't particularly like him much either & to me the match served no purpose at all apart from ending the career of an already injured man & for a another a few hundred thousand fans joining the 'we hate Roman' club.
As for Mojo Rawley winning the Battle Royale WTF???.
A mixed bag for me too.Way too much nostalgia but that seems to be what WWE is about these days.I didn't even care about Lesnar/Goldberg or the Battle Royal. Orton/Wyatt was a let down and the Taker/Reigns match was pretty awful with a major blown spot.Taker looked really decrepit in places.I think.he's slightly tarnished his legacy by having 3 lame WM matches consecutively.
Triple H should call it day now,his match dragged on and I found it pretty boring.
What was the point of the AJ/Shane match?
Shane matched Taker punch for punch last year and now matches AJ hold for hold.So are we to believe Shane is the real toughest S.O.B in the history of wrestling?
Just another ego trip for a man who gets paid $2.5 million a year for taking spots from more deserving, full time performers that work their arses off.

^ Don't get me wrong,I compliment Shane's work rate but for me he(or any other none worker)should ever be built up as an equal to full timer, especially AJ.The finish was an insult.
I totally agree with your idea about the Sting/Taker retirement stipulation. That would have been great.

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
The ending of Reigns/Undertaker's No Holds Barred match was a confusing one for me. I thought that more creative stipulations involving Kane, Strowman or caskets with a group of druids would have been a more fitting end to such a match.
From Reign's point of view, he did seem gutted to have retired the Undertaker in what was ultimately a bit of disappointing ending. They should never have ended the streak anyway - but once they did that, they left themselves limited options for storylines. After that, it's not so much the loss anymore, it's just I wanted him to have better endings in his last matches, and the finishes do seem lame and uncreative for a performer of his stature, and for a loyal servant of a company he has dominated for the last almost 30 years.
But yes, what a story Undertaker / Sting would have been and now we'll never get it, even though everyone wants it. WWE made sure that bit the dust ages ago and it's one of their biggest missed opportunities. That would have been a fitting retirement match. I know Taker's been ravaged by injuries as he's got closer to and entered his fifties but they should have pulled out all the stops to make that Sting match happen.
Shane matching Styles hold for hold is ridiculous and just another ego trip for the guy who already earns a king's ransom.
I enjoyed the HHH/Rollins match the most, it was an ok match.
Overall probably not worth the Sky Box Office fee, and with no Taker anymore it may be difficult for me to get as interested about Wrestlemania in the future.

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
I would say it would average to fairly solid. It came across as show to create more emphasis on moments and news worthy articles and putting the wrestling secondary but as mentioned this is a spectacle and is nothing new. I questioned the placement of styles on this card and was bizarre having their match kick off first and still come away thinking it did nothing for him, in no way should a part time commissioner be booked as a credible competitor to one of the finest wresflerst on the planet, would pick apart most of the matches but you guys have covered most of the points. I look forward to possible debutants on raw tonight.
