RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
I was pleased with Sheamus winning the Rumble, as it was a different twist to everyone expecting Jericho to come back and win.
Punk retaining the title was the only credible outcome, but Laurinitis as guest referee was a wasted opportunity. They could have done more things with that angle.
Apart from those relatively good points for me though, the ppv sucked as an event. The Cena-Kane match was shit, and dragging Ryder into it as well was predictable, but also crap. There were far too many wowsers, jokers and shit wrestlers appearing in the rumble - Duggan, Lawler, Road Dogg and fuckin Michael Cole?????? WTF!!
There used to be so many stars but its like they throw any old hasbeen and crapster in now to make up the numbers. I hope Elimination Chamber is better, because frankly, this was a big disappointment. The Rumble has always been one of my favourite events in years gone by, but this was really poor as a whole. Not worth the money.

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
it weren't the best rumble ever, but i liked the comical first 15 (or just half) then the seriousness of the second half (or 15)
anyone else notice road dogg's music? "you better call somebody..." not "your ass better call somebody..." PG gone crazy... especially considering the cage match and chair shots from kane, you'd think they'd allow one "ass" for old time's sake
plus, why is david otunga still employed yet drew mcintyre is almost fired? (go along with the storyline for a sec) he literally has no talent or charisma (i'll admit, he CAN take a beating from orton.... wait, that sounded wrong.... i meant the christmas episode of smackdown street fight, he got beat up)
"Don't quote me on that"
People say, "I was born ready" with me, it's like, I wasn't born ready, but like 10 minutes after, I'm kind of ready-ish...
all views are my own... someone told me to say that and I thought it was a good idea

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
it was better than last year's rumble, the rumble itself had some good moments,i found it amusing that Lawler,Booker and Cole were in it,but i was expecting maybe Rey Mysterio or Christian to be in it,but we got Jey Uso and Duggan,Kofi walking on his hands was a great part of it,and Kharma returning, and Jericho and Sheamus had a good battle at the end,but Orton should of won

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
Looks like it.
Why no Kharma on RAW? Perhaps saving her going face to face with Beth for another week since we had Eve/Cena/Kane added on at the end of the match.
Decent RAW, looking forward to Taker/HHH and Punk/Jericho

RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
Another shit Raw. And yet another indication WWE has absolutely zero ideas for the future- booking HHH/Taker in almost the exact same way as last year. Typical really; keep the veterans together at the big events instead of booking them against younger talent that Vince & co will rely on in the future. You do get the impression that Vince & HHH genuinely don't care anymore.
