After being down once again, the streams are back up...once again. They've done something right this time around though as their currently streaming the 10pm show. And no osg's either.

Both streams are "functioning" that's true. Well certainly as tested just now they are although CG1 was just a black screen and CG2 was an empty set. This didn't match the output on $ky at the time.

It looks like CG2 stream is being provided by an alternate firestorm server.

CG1 is captured by a Cinergy HT card and is set to 480x270 16:9 25fps with CBR, although this fluctuates between 424 and 460Kbps. Weirdly though the audio is mp3 stereo at CBR 96Kbps. So effectively too much bandwidth is being used on audio and not enough on video. They should alter the audio to say 64Kbps and only mono. That would release another 64Kbps to video is they're wanting to keep this within the overall 560Kbps they appear to be trying to.

CG2 is using Hauppauge Win/TV Video Capture Driver and SoundMax audio, so appears to just be a PC. There's some settings here that don't map correctly - 480x288 means 1.667 rather than 1.78 (16:9) ratio, and although it set to 25fps it is also set to NTSC standard, which may confuse some machines. Same comment on audio in that it's too high.

I reckon someone actually reads our posts.... 'cos the CG2 stream is now correct at 480x270 16:9. It's still NTSC at 25fps, but baby steps...
Mind you, it would seem CG1 stream is down again...
Edit: Spoke too soon - it looks like it's inputs from different camera feeds that dictates if its the correct resolution or not. Stream just changed and it was back to 480x288 again

We all adore Angela of course, but variety is the spice of life - any chance we can get some other babes to also do the 10 to 11 late show to mix things up a bit ?

I would like to see Charley Green again after her fantastic performance last time.

The lack of consistency from the channel tends to suggest they've some challenges internally with presenters available, and those willing to do a topless show. I've pretty much given up and now rarely watch which is a shame as they've had some good shows and very good women on the channel.

Fuck all happened last night because all that was shown from 10 - 11pm last night was adverts, which is one of the reasons why i've cancelled my subscription to Playboy tv.

guys has the channel moved on sky or has it been removed now?

It's still there on channels 901 and 915. Hasn't changed transponder or anything. And indeed they've 3 girls on at the moment...
