What a fabulous example of your selective reading Wink
I thought I'd try following your example for once Bounce

As wackawoo's excellent link shows, no, he carried on until 2008.

Would you care to qoute, with linked reference, ALL the answers and responces I have given on the issue of Europe? it is all here.

However, in your case you systimatically refused to answer anything I asked you, being more interested in trying to cross examing me or being personal rather than any issue to do with Europe.

But thanks for proving my point, you offer nothing to the debate again. Wink

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
Wonder how many people up and down the uk, including the busy and housebond and those with no PC, laptop or ipads know you have to register to vote in the EU referendum?

https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

I've received nothing about this, no seperate registration card like local elections; unless it was tucked away in the propaganda leaflet they delievered to my bin.

Looks like it's a yes to Europe then.

Hopefully it will back fire and people who would have voted yes can't.

Anyone who was already registered to vote (or recently registered) before the 18 April deadline for the elections taking place across the UK on 5 May will also be registered to vote at the EU Referendum and will be able to cast their vote. You do not need to re-register.

If your circumstances change, for example you move home between now and the EU Referendum registration deadline on 7 June, then you will need to re-register at your new property.

Thanks Skully. I had just typed the same thing. I've seen lots of nonsense about the need to register with Facebook campaigns and other things. Silly scare stories in the main. My Polling Card arrived today

Does that mean if you could vote in the last General election, you can in this? or does that mean the last local elections? Becasue if it does, I, probably like most people, have never once voted in them; so I assume we have to register.

People who are not registered to vote (which can be a lot) or have recently moved house need to be aware of this; whether voting for or against. Nobody can assume they can walk into their voting office and be able to vote.

I assume my polling card must be in the post if SecretAgent has received theirs.

Finally in easy terms:

""You don’t need to register again if you’re already on the electoral register.""
