By the looks of it yes, the SNP one was 600k of party funds and Sturgeon was cleared. Le Pen was apparently the ringleader in her case and they embezzled 2.9m euros.

I'd say she was lucky she wasn't jailed but banning her five years from Publc offfice is going to hurt her enough, and probably puts an end to any political ambitions. But she has to wear a tag for 2 years which probably is embarrassment enough I would hope our MP's will think twice about doing any thing like similar in future in case our judges take the same line.

I expect Most french papers will have it as Front page news tomorrrow and i expect our press will give some coverage.

P.S. 2.9m euros is nearly £2.5m (2m 425,415.00 to be exact)
