Career health officials managed to slow-walk the roll out of Trump's chloroquine wonder cure until they got some trials done.

The first results are in.
Of patients who didn't receive chloroquine treatment, 11% died.
Of patients who did receive chloroquine, 28% died.

Hence the pivot onto disinfectant and sunlight.

I can foresee another tranche of 'natural selection' taking place amongst his supporters now though.

Yep, I'm sure I'm not the only one expecting to see a news report in the coming days of someone dying from ingesting bleach, thinking they can cure or protect themselves from Covid 19
