RE: Petition
I've been reading the following posts, and the thing which concerns me the most is the amount of time we have left if the unthinkable happens and the Babe channels gradually just dwindle away into the sunset.
I no the Epetition which Eccles setup is a great idea and we no we have around 350 signatures, however as we all no time is against us, and as the weeks keep on rolling, so does the Ofcom band wagon.
There needs to be a way to somehow publicly get our message across fast and effectively, the more we can expose Ofcom in the public eye, while fighting our cause then i think things will move quickly. The key for me is publicity, whether it be in newspapers or some other publications, but we need to EXPOSE Ofcom and tell the public sector what Ofcom are doing, infringing on our human rights and how they are bending the rules and in many cases breaking the law.
Only then the heat will be turned on the government to sort this out, and in so doing, start to put the heat on Ofcom.

Those, and all the people that post in the 'Today/Tonight I'm Loving' threads. I don't have any objection to the odd post in there - if you see something you love (as I did the other night - nuff said) then why not say so, but the regular posters to that thread are very easily pleased is all I'll say.

Going by the number of complaints (in the babestation section)hopefully there will be a good response.
I have no qualms about giving my real name and adress. If we want this to be taken seriously anybody who signs it should give their correct details.
Now currently we have 359 signatures, this was not the case on the 19th August, yes admitingly 359 it's not what we could have hoped for by now but we have made progress, so to get maybe a couple of thousand by the closing date going by the statistics could still claim us some sort of small victory, it would get noticed, still not enough to make headline news but a couple of thousand would be far from disastrous and is ammunition that you could throw at Ofcom and compare them with the amount of complaints cast in the same period, so despite the fact we're not going to get the desired 100,000 a couple of thousand is still enougn to be seen to be making a stand and it would give Ofcom something to worry about as these figures will be published and it only needs one MP to notice it to get the ball rolling even further.

RE: Petition
Complaints Stan such as the quailty of the output over Babestation which is still pretty much ongoing, some things never change, but like I said I quoted from an old post from the 19th August to more or less to illistrate the progress that has been made from 8 to 359, the rest of the post is really irrelevant and was only intended so that we could guage statistics from back then and now. The complaints were nothing to do with the petition whether it be at present or past. Hopefully this clarifys the intention of the quotation.
