Libor Kozak is a good signing for villa, he is great in the air, very similar player to peter crouch.

As someone that spent close to a year working up in the North East a few years ago, and maintaining many Geordie friends, it must be so utterly demoralising being a Newcastle fan right now. The ONLY premiership club not to spend a single penny on any permanent signings. The Geordies are salt of the earth people, loyal to the end, and yet their club is run by one of the biggest cunts in all of football.

again you talk nonsense fernandez, i bet even if man utd re signed ronaldo you would say he is a panic buy, felliani is a good player he scores goals and is a big physical player something that utd needed in midfield, also if they got kaka on a free transfer that would have been a good signing too but he has gone back to milan

though of course victor moses is a fantastic prolific striker and a great signing for your club right?

Perhaps he will spend big in January again? I think when Remy is fully fit he will score a lot of goals, and also keeping Cabaye is a good thing for Newcastle.

Like Dan said perhaps the rumours about him selling the club and buying Rangers are true, maybe a new owner wouldnt be so bad for Newcastle to give them a little more stability.

Also I'm happy that Porto didn't sell Fernando to Everton, and we managed to keep Mangala Smile Liverpool made some great signings too especially happy about Sakho, just what we needed at the back and Keeping Suarez was massive, good job by John Henry sticking to his words. Ilori is a decent young player too, saw him play against us a few times in portugal and Moses will definatley be good on the wing as it free up coutinho to play in his favourite position. Smile

Everton did well too getting Lukkaku on loan, great striker, but with chelsea getting Eto'o it makes sense for him to be loaned out again.

Yes they failed to get Fabregas, they failed to get Baines, they failed to get Herrera, and they paid £27.5m for Fellaini who was available for £23.5m in July. Yes a good window for Man Utd.
and accordin to guillem balague, contreao isnt even joining man utd on loan hes staying in madrid although i thought it was confirmed lol.

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

I've heard more reports saying he hasn't made the deadline than he has, I think Balague is more reliable on this one.

I think after Newcastle, Man United had the worst transfer window out of all the EPL clubs.

If he is that good though and necessary for utd why did they not buy him a few weeks ago when his buyout clause was £22m? Now they have rushed through a deadline day deal for £27.5m! Huh

If he was the one they needed and wanted they would have bought him before the final seconds of the window, especially when he had a reasonable buyout clause. Now they have rushed and paid more because they could not get anybody else.

I agree Dan

I'm suprised united did not go for Ozil earlier in the window instead of Cesc, he would have been perfect fit for them just what they needed.

Pretty sure Fellaini was a panic buy leaving it so late on, also paying Everton 4m more than if they had bought him in July. I think he will still do an ok job for them but it's not the type of player they needed realistically. I think if anything Fellaini would have suited Arsenal more to be their strong defensive midfielder they have been looking for..
