when you say this kid will be the next stevie g, what are you hoping he achieves? one more title than stevie g got? that will be one then? take this how you want to ok yoda, but if he is such a great player then why hasnt he inspired liverpool to a league title, if he is so good? shearer did it at blackburn with all his goals, with a little help. obviously winky boy at man utd won them the league mostly on his own a few times but im sure some united fans would disagree. is gerrard really this special player what people make out he is? is he up there with zavi and iniesta in your honest opinion, or is anyone in football up there with those two, cos i dont think any1 else is!

Are you being serious?? If you're trying to provoke me then congratulations, you have. Even the most die hard Man Utd fan if he's honest will tell you how much of a special player Gerrard. They'd have him in their team every day of the week. And if you ask me he'd walk into every football team in the world. Liverpool havent won a premier league title no. That's unfortunate. But Steven Gerrard pulled the club by the scruff of the neck and inspired it to win the European Cup in 2005. And has dragged LFC out of the shit regularly year after year. You just have to look at what he did against Olympiakos in December 2004 in the final few minutes when we were going out of the Champions League. Or you can look at his performance and what he did in the FA Cup Final of 2006 against West Ham. Or more recently look at what he did last November in a game i had the privilege of being at at. Liverpool trailed Napoli 1-0 at half-time and looked to be struggling. On comes Gerrard at half-time. Bang, bang, bang Liverpool win 3-1 and Gerrard scores a hat-trick. Are players who are not special able to do these things??? Who is the ONLY player in World Football to score goals in a Champions League Final, an F.A Cup Final, a League Cup Final, a Uefa Cup Final, the World Cup Finals and the European Championships Finals?? Yes you guessed it...Steven Gerrard has done it at every level and for you to say he is not a special player just because he hasnt a league medal is plain ridiculous.

I could talk all night long about how much of a fantasic and one-of-a-kind player Steven Gerrard is but i wont bother. I've given that ridiculous post enough of my time. Just have a look below and try tell me again he's not an exceptional or special player.
