Boris will grimly cling on as long as he can.
No UK PM resigns on matters of principle or morals. Not going to happen.

He will only go if he is forced out by his own cabinet or parliamentary party.
The parliamentary party verdict will be made on the basis of two factors.

1. Votes and specifically how much danger each Tory MP thinks they will be in at the next election.
2. Personal ambition and alliances in the hope of either becoming PM themselves or obtaining a high profile position in the cabinet of an ally in the party should that person take over as PM.

The calculations will be entirely political and not moral.
That is just the way it works.

I disagree.

I think this is a sincere moment of genuine reflection, for Boris Johnson. He will read the mood of the nation, and will ultimately choose to make a dignified exit for the sake of national unity. After which, a new generation of true statesmen will step up to show real leadership and moral courage through the end of Covid and the coming economic challenge.

Looks like the report from Sue Gray is out but it appears some parts have been blanked out

Prime Ministers get away with stuff and always have..some get the Order of the Garter after making up evidence and directly causing the death of British citizens..
