That maybe true but take the most recent Royal Rumble PPV event where general consensus across the board was that it was a pretty poor PPV aside from the predictable winners of both Rumble matches there wasn't any memorable matches on the rest of the card. But if WWE had added a few 'killer' promos into PPV would it have made the Rumble PPV any better or have more viewers tune in I very much doubt it. Trash talking promo's has always been part & parcel in WWE for decades so much so other sports followed up on it's success & have integrated it into their programmes ie boxing,UFC etc as it's a means of sparking interest (putting bums on seats) on events & increasing viewer ratings. My point is more towards the promo's that are nothing more than meaningless drivel wrapped up in a meaningless storyline that often gets forgotten about a week or two later.Thse promo's are just used to pad out a show when there are many wrestlers on the books complain they don't get any airtime on TV.But also WWE seem to have an obsession of turning wrestlers into trained script written actors & for all the charasmatic wrestlers like The Rock,Steve Austin,HHH, Chris Jericho,Miz etc who could serve up a verbal beating on trash talking alone there are plenty of wrestlers who look very uncomfortable whenever they have mic put to them.
I say bring back more trash-talking managers of the ilk of Paul Heyman,Bobby Heenan,Mr Fuji, Queen Sherri etc & let some of the less vocal wrestlers get back to wrestling ie not trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

This is what some of the card is shaping up to look like based off current events
Lesnar vs rollins
Ronda v becky v charlotte
Miz vs shane
A match with kurt angle im gonna predict angle and cena v corbin and mclntyre
I guess there will be a lot of multi man matches and as for daniel bryan no clue all i can assume is they are saving brey wyatt return for him so all in all not looking like a great card also will probably have nia jax vs a man on there somewhere...
Couldn't agree more with this, the match I was looking forward to was Batista v HHH but that doesn't look like it will be happening with HHH's injury and Batista with his movie commitments.
Quicker the Universal title is off the waist / shoulder of Lesnar the better IMO and can he wrestle a match more than 10 - 15 mins even at Wrestlemania
the Ronda / Becky / Charlotte storyline / buildup has had some good moments - the becky / ronda face off(s) but I struggle to enjoy a ronda match due to her lack of moves, she focuses too much on her UFC background - punches / takedowns etc hope she learns more moves in time for Mania
Miz / Shane tbh I have skipped / fast forwarded all of their stuff as tag team matches are not really my cup of tea - the Usos are probably the closest I get to enjoying a tag team match
I am not sure who Daniel Bryan will face, and also others like Orton, Samoa Joe, and Taker / HBK.
