The trooper was fired on Friday and arrested last night for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

Anyway, being Black in America and looking like you are reaching for anything that could remotely construed as a firearm is just giving reasons to be shot sadly.
Be it a cellphone, pen or wallet. Seemed like the kid was naive on how the police and prison system treats people of African American ancestry.

The cop was partial wrong anyhow. He should have said:
"With your hands in plain view, slowly reach out and show your license and registration"
The kid, should have said:
"My drivers license and registration is the glove compartment. Can I go and reach for it?"

Both parties were incompetent for dealing with the situation at hand. Good thing that Trooper was a piss poor shooter or this could have turned out even worse.
