mcleish is rubbish relegated 1 birmingham club and nearly relegated thier rivals. the new manager has to do a clear out and get rid of some the dead wood in the squad.

McLeish deserved to get the sack, very poor season for Aston Villa. I wonder who Aston Villa will approach for a new manager maybe Martinez again or Paul Lambert, but will any manager want to work under the ownership of Lerner, who is very strict when it comes to spending money. I also doubt McLeish will be the only manager to be sacked in the next few weeks

Well if you don't have the support of the fans then when all the shit hits the fan you just know it was going to end this way, Villa fans have hated this appointment since day 1, he was never a popular favorite unlike Martin O'Neil who when he was at Villa did an excellent job and is a name no doubt who will be linked with a return to Villa after resigning at the start of August 2010 blaming his reason's for a lack of funds.
