Have you ever been slagging somebody off only to find them standing behind you and looking mighty angry?

Yes.....I once commented about someone's Mercedes to someone else, and said that it was to make up for being less than adequate down below, and of course.........he had a Mercedes too

Have you ever heard your own voice on a recording and thought 'who the hell is that, he sounds like a village idiot'.
It happened to me this week, and I now realise what I sound like.
I am now trying to speak with stiff upper lip (without success)

yes, but like most threads that get deleted it was a load of inane drivel!!

No, but I've been hit as the wrong person (from behind as a kid by an adult in a crowded room - it was a genuine case of mistaken id as his son was a similar size and age, but for a moment I thought my mum, who'd been drinking, was going to kill him!)
