I love this show, Guy Pearce is brilliant in the title role. Sad there are only four episodes left, so on to season 3 we go.

Game Of Thrones Season 8, Episode 6 - The Iron Throne.

After watching this for a second time I'm just as disappointed as the first time around . It still has that GOT epic scale but it only slowly goes through the motions after the events of the previous episode and the enventual conclusion is so disappointing imo, especially from all of the build up from all of the previous seasons.

This is nothing new and a fair few people have already commented about the ending to this show. Where it started going wrong, imo, was in the episode 'The Bells' - The 'Daenerys Targaryen revenge trip' was massively disappointing (she should never have been written into the show as a mass murderer, considering she was 'The Breaker Of Chains'), and resulted in what I felt to be, a rushed conclusion to the series. This should've been a more bulked out season rather than just six episodes imo.

D B Weiss and David Benioff dropped the ball completely imo and it felt like they didn't know how to end this series....(possibly because they caught up with and overtook the books from George R. R. Martin), for all the hard work they did within this absolutely brilliant series, it's just a shame they didn't concentrate harder on how to end it imo
