Clearly a series, this time in Warwickshire, to consider brewing, classical music, aqueducts, bicycles and finally Shakespeare at Stratford.
GCJ
Gyles and Sheila back in the NW, looking at dry stone walling (nowhere near a canal), hat making (also not ostensibly near a canal), women's football at Man City, then finally John Thaw's old primary school (since rebuilt).

RE: What TV show did you last watch?
'HELP' C4. I emphasize with quote marks and capitals, as that portrays the calibre and standing of this 'outstanding' drama last night!!!!
Acting out of the stratosphere brought home in the most visceral, bone shaking manner, the issues that care homes had to deal with at the height of this pandemic (still not over - don't kid yourselves).
One newspaper article suggested that Hancock (his PR spin could be heard spewing out in the background of one scene) and so many more within the govt, should have been strapped to seats and forced to watch this - INDEED!!!. Even allowing for artistic license (maybe there was none??) - if even a fraction of the events that were portrayed in this drama were true (and it had to be researched well surely - almost doesn't need saying) - then the forthcoming inquiry at the end when it comes, should be an uncomfortable read for many (we know a lot of it to be fact already of course)!! Given the failings and shortcomings, and the attempt to brush them aside, it has to mean the end of political careers, and frankly court appearances for some!! I foresee many families taking things further - much further - when they see in black and white, what they will say they already know - if that is how it turns out!!
Jodie Comer / Stephen Graham Oscar standard!! Baftas galore will have to do!!
On a separate note - this is C4 at its' best!! Such a shame it has turned into a populist pap vehicle so often outside of these set - piece programmes (not just dramas). If people missed it, no offence, but they have a duty to catch up with it!!

Rather more speedily saw this; her monologues seemed hard to discuss adequately, but at least some of her lesser film roles got attention, beyond an awful lot on the St Trinians series.
CL etc - Dan Aykroyd
Skipped a couple which didn't appeal, but this was solid stuff. Great working with John Candy, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, John Belushi, Steve Martin & so many more. And on his own!
