It can't. There isn't any appeal against an acquittal by a jury. Not unless there's evidence that the jury was bribed or coerced in some way.

they bloody cost more to run - or use probably - than it probably does repairing normal motorways themselves!! I reckon this old chestnut has been raised just to deflect news away from the virus/Brexit. Remind me just how many miles of smart motorways have actually been built and if the cost is outstripping the much maligned over budget HS2 project which I think has seen costs rise yet again the other day.

btw while I'm at it, isn't Crossrail over budget which was Johnson's baby when he was mayor of London and is it still to be completed? yet how often do you drive on motorways where repairs are going on and there's no one doing any actual work sometimes?
