was watching Jeremy hunt on GMB this morning christ to think he could have been PM and prob would have done a better job

For once I am in agreement things could have been done so differently if Hunt was PM.

Hunt was the man in charge at the Dept of Health when it was decided that stockpiling PPE for a flu epidemic /pandemic was too expensive.

They are all a useless set of self effacing idiots who couldn't be left to organise the proverbial in a brewery.

Looking after their own interests rather than what is best for the country as a whole.

Good on them and stick two fingers up to the Government's response and position at the same time
if the Government won't do it then let the hard working people put you in No.10 to shame for not doing the right thing in thr first place..

yeah i have misgivings about this

not about Marcus Rashford or the companies that are donating time and money and food to this its wonderful. but the fact it means the govt can shirk responsibility because charities will pick up the pieces

wow MP's are subsidised £57,000 a week on food and drink

wouldnt surprise me if thats the amount that Rashford prob pays in Tax a week on his wages

Fuck 'free' school meals. I hate the fact that taxpayers have to fork the bill for brats whose parents don't know how to raise a family without scrounging off the state. If it's such a burden to look after your sprogs, you should've used a condom then. Or spray your jizz watching porn or the babe channels.

As for Rashford, this guy is piss poor for someone who's contracted to Manchester Utd. He's Danny Welbeck 2.0, a homegrown academy player who gets promoted to the first team just because he's Manc born and gets special priveleges. I think he knows he's not good enough, hence why he's building a 'career' outside of football as some sort of fucking Dickensian hero or something.

Whilst I can't stand all this virtue signaling think of the poor kids nonsense that is espoused in liberal circles on circles, I'd like to see the real people get given credit for this activism. Because it's sure as hell not Rashford with the initiative. For one, he sounds just like every other footballer, someone with a brain made out of straw. It's hilarious how people seem to think it's Marcus sending out semi-articulate tweets on social media, often chastising government ministers. Like fuck it's him. I don't know enough about this free meal shit but it sounds to me like it's his mother who is doing the hard work yet Rashford takes the credit just because he's famous.

Marcus should give 95% of his wages every week to the poor kids if he truly cared. I'm sure he'd still have enough to life comfortably give how ridiculous football wages are.

Rashford got an OBE. so his campaign was widely recognised but those in power have let him & millions pf families struggling down by not stepping up to the mark like they should have done.

And no kid should EVER go hungry it's shocking how child poverty in this country has risen steadily in this country and shouldn't even be happening.
