A breakaway group look like they can hold out for a win.

Politt is the unexpected winner today, i seen him do well in the spring one day races in the low countries,
the strong wind made it a day for the break away, Cav has a chance again tomorrow on a flat day but its another where if windy the break away should win,
i do always like to see a break away win,

Stage13. 219.9km Nimes to Carcassonne.
Another flat stage which could suit the sprinters

It always gets me how the guys hardly seen in the stage until the 3 lead out men pull to one side and then Cavendish puts on the burners and no-one has the speed to keep up.

A different interview from him today. After yesterdays hard mountain stage , he said that today was long, hot, and windy. And he had to go deep to win. No celebrations from him.

Today has been one of those days when you are honoured to see the best in the history of a sport win. Well done Cav!

Eddy caught doping 3 times and also introduced Lance Armstrong to Michele Ferrari Merckx.

I'm overjoyed that Cav is within spitting distance of wiping out one of the old fraud's records.
