Unspun World with John Humphreys
Much irony, not least talking to the bloke who monitors Russian telly for propaganda. He should try watching GB News and TalkTV.

In full agreement with you here 'Doddle' They are an embarrassment to the journalistic profession. I can't believe so many (far from eminent........but...) reasonable journos such as Isobel Lang Simon McCoy - Colin Brazier isn't it?? -etc were willing to join a down market propaganda machine, to sit along side with the likes to Dan Wootton who is not only an embarrassment to the profession of Journalism, but to the human race too!! Today's classic was mocking a poster (perfectly reasonable) with the same face duplicated a number of times of a patient during the worst of covid wearing an oxygen mask to help him breathe, which was in response to the outrageous reaction to the Sue Gray report from Johnson in dismissing the criticism of leadership at number 10. Wootton more or less said that the poster piece was propaganda in itself for using the plight of those that suffered so much in condemning the brazen refusal of Johnson to take ownership of the failure of leadership highlighted (clearly highlighted) in the Gray report.

I stumbled across this garbage by accident. I won't make the same mistake again!!

The Flight Attendant

I was a bit wary how the second season would follow on from the fairly wrapped up first season but the double billed opening seems to have maintained the contrived but kooky fun with a similar but different enough premise. It dawned on me that it's probably better watching it as a binge watch, which we did with first season, than keeping up with it weekly.

It's diverting fun but wouldn't work at all without Kaley Cuoco. Her irrepressable personality drives the show.

^^ By some strange coincidence, I'm watching EP.3 now. I would agree, the fast-paced show definitely lends itself to a few episodes at a time.

The Many Faces of Ronnie Barker
Decent repeat from 2012. I note John Cleese made the point that Ronnie did have a bit of Benny Hill about his material, and there were some other refreshing criticisms too.
