Last film you watched

Fantasy Island - 6/10. Not great, but not too bad.

Tomb Raider (The recent one)

The action was good and the plot was the usual Indiana Jones type fare, but the young Lara was a bit disappointing.
The end of the film hinted at better things to come, though. I think this film was more about setting up Lara's back story and she'll be much more kick-ass in the future.

A generous 6/10, but I'll demand a recount if the next one's not much better

^ Completely believable ....yes, let me see, I'll happily work as a bike courier even though I have a multi-million pound trust fund just waiting for me, because I don't want to admit my Dad's dead. Like I couldn't just hang on to some of it if he did actually turn up out of the blue alive one day.

I get it was supposed to be an "origins" story, but surely missed the point that Lara Croft's raison d'etre is a tight top and shorts with gun holsters that look like a suspender belt.

Live and Let Die

Dolittle 6/10. Could have been a lot better, but I don't regret watching it.

Mulan 3/10 - pretty but predictable and bland.

Little Women (2019)

Spoiled by a pointless structure of flash forwards and flash backwards that mean the film starts near the end and jumps about continuously between past and near-present.

Why ?

Sonic The Hedgehog - 7.5/10. A pretty decent film, it's a lot of fun and an easy watch.

Jojo rabbit (2019)

Didn't think i would like this but its actually a really good film

Alien vs predator (2004)
An underrated film in my opinion much better than its sequel, probably the best alien film since alien 3 and the girl in it sanaa lathan is fine as hell too
