Tremors

Oldie, but a goodie, and back on Netflix now, so worth a re-watch.

An absolutely ludicrous B-movie, straight-to-video, schlocky, monster-of-the-week idea ... that was somehow turned into a brilliant film.

Kevin Bacon and Kevin Ward are outstanding as the two male leads, but Michael Gross steals the show as the right-wing gun nut, which completely subverts my memory of him as the hippie peacenik patriarch of the Keating family on Family Ties.

Great movie. Watch it if you haven’t already.

Fully agree about Tremors, it's a brilliant fun and very cheesy film from start to finish and not a single bad performance from the cast. There's 6 Tremors films in total now

Spiderman Homecoming.

Watched the first 30mins and lost the will to live.
Apart from a brief flurry of action during the ATM robbery, it's like one of those awful teen romance movies you sat through to keep the girlfriend happy

If someone can tell me it gets better, maybe I'll go back to it.

Espionage/computer hacking/revenge/action thriller set in Sweden, starring Claire Foy.
Not the easiest plot to follow, with a few twists, but quite a ride, especially the ending.

7/10

Wrath of Man 7.5/10. H's background needed padded out a little more, but other than that, entertaining stuff.
