Brilliant winning celebration from Marc Marquez at Assen today.
After a rain affected race, he pretended to swim across the finish line :

Wonderboy Marquez slid off at San Marino today, allowing Valentino Rossi to win his first race in a long time, becoming the first rider to rack up 5000 championship points in his career.

RE: Moto GP
so, no one here is interested in motogp? what about the rossi/marquez drama? It was the most interesting and controversial moment of the last years of this sport

year after year after year, I keep reading that the shows were better "in the past"... maybe they were never that great (except in the pioneering era)?

RE: Moto GP
Yeah it ruined the championship Rossi might not of one it if he could of started from say 4th but he was definitely not going to win the title from last. Really hope it would be Rossi's year but alas sadly not just a shame it ended with such a bitter taste. Lorenzo as a rider i respect, Lorenzo the person not so much, I liked Marquez but lost any respect for him with what's gone on over the last few weeks.

I have no idea what I'm doing here but I'm here!!!

RE: Moto GP
An extremely disappointing final outcome to the season.
Not particularly because Lorenzo won, (although I'm not a fan either) but the crappy way we reached the conclusion.
So has Marquez been playing silly buggers? There are many people that believe so. Either way Rossi shouldn't have behaved so dangerously immature at Sepang.
An easy statement for me to make I know, but he has a remarkable career to keep intact.

Both riders need to sort out their shit for 2016.

I would actually like to see Pedrosa win a title although he will need to find some consistency.
I feel it would be a very welcomed outcome by many a Moto GP fan, especially now.

RE: Moto GP
extremely disappointing final outcome indeed!
especially, because I'm convinced that this was the last chance for valentino to win his 10th Championship. imo this defeat will be difficult to overcome. Marquez is pure talent, but - imo - his behavior in the last few races was unethical. and yes, i agree, rossi was immature in Sepang, and maybe he deserved the penalty, but I believe as well that he was blatantly provoked by marquez...maybe the only pilot in the motogp history capable of put rossi in "psychological stress" (sorry, can't find a better expression in english Big Grin)...and it's remarkable.
of course, valentino was never a saint...especially in his prime, he was kinda a provocateur (just think of the "brawls" with biaggi), but he never acted like marquez did in the last few races

RE: Moto GP
Probably was Valentino last chance for a title which is what makes the way things have played out so much worse. Marquez caused the incident in Sepang, Rossi still was wrong for doing what he did but Marquez wasn't innocent. Lorenzo shouting his mouth of about Rossi shouldn't of been aloud to keep the podium and should of been excluded then trying to get involved in the CAS appeal it stinks on his end. The only person i have and respect for besides Rossi is Pedrosa, rode well in the last few races and would/could of taken Lorenzo on the last lap if it wasn't for Marquez, who then took him back straight away thus giving Lorenzo breathing space. If Valentino doesn't win the title next year i hope its Dani.

I have no idea what I'm doing here but I'm here!!!
