hard luck wales! i feel your pain. again in a massive sporting event, all the talk will be about the ref!

Desperately unfortunate for Wales. A shocking decision on the red card (should have been yellow) and Halfpenny's penalty was about 6 inches short (incidentally from a decision that should have gone the other way). Having said that they still had big chances, Jones would put over that conversion 9 times out of 10 and they panicked with 10 minutes left in a great drop goal position.
So pissed off that France have made the final having played about 30 minutes of decent rugby in the whole tournament. They bossed the set piece today (though they were helped by Adam Jones having to go off so early) and played intelligent rugby but where was the flair? Julien Bonnaire was magnificent though.
One more thing. Can you imagine a World Cup semi-final in football with such a controversial decision where the players just get on with the game rather than surrounding the ref and screaming in his face?

The referee had a shocker. Not just because of the sending off either.

Well said rickhardo, it would be meltdown had those decisions been made in footy. Rugby players just accept it and get on with it.

Hard luck Wales, I really wanted them to smash the French as well. As mentioned they have played pretty poor throughout.

Apparently it was a straight red card offence according to the laws.

Nowe it is Aus V NZ - I go for NZ by 20.

Predictions time!!

Australia by 8 but I hope I'm wrong - even though I put a bet on the Aussies at the start of the tournament.

Nah just a couple of quid. Great to see NZ not choking, a magnificent forward display with McCaw outstanding. Australia should have dropped Cooper, his tactical play was inept again, New Zealand simply picked the Australian pack to bits and kept the pressure on all game.
Please God let them play well next week against France, a French win would be a travesty.

I really hope the All Blacks can win the final against France. The French have shown pitifully little ambition in their play while NZ have played an entertaining brand of expansive Rugby. Wales were most unfortunate.

The French team are boring... They only have managed to win a couple of games because of the strength of their pack and their abilty to disrupt play. They are the worse team to reach a rugby final.

What's happened to their great backs.

New Zealand will rip them to shreads.
