one suggestion could the mods be a little less trigger happy when it comes to kicking people

ok i'll ask nicely will the mod who banned me from the chat unban me please

ok i kept saying this in the chatbox discussion thread with no results so i'm starting a thread to hopefully get the message through will it work i doubt it. ok will the mod who bloody kicked me in the chat box last night unbad me please

Dont know what happened, but seems a bit harsh for them to ban you. Thought they could only kick you? Sure one of the mods will explain soon enough.

Dont even know what happened mate? but it does seem harsh that they banned you. I've Done some stupid things in the chatbox before and i got was kicked i never have been banned.

First of all - it was me who kicked you from the chatbox

You and jamie were both warned on several occasions and neither 1 of you listened, so you both got kicked to cool down. You both came back, got reminded of your behaviour, and still carried on, so got kicked again.

Each time you got kicked you both came back and carried on where you left off.

This was disrupting the entire chatbox - so you both got kicked and have had a substantial amount of time added to it in order to fully calm down and perhaps learn when to leave things be. This wasn't a personal thing against you as both of you were kicked.

I had been contemplating lifting your ban, since you had yourself seen to apologise for your behaviour. But your subsequent actions of posting about the matter all around the forum doesn't help your case much. A simple apology was enough - but you have to remember that just because you want something, doesn't neccesarily mean there is anyone about to take the neccesary action. If I am not online, I can hardly lift your ban.

Patience is an honourable attribute to learn. Likewise, so is biting your tongue and not rising to the bait all the time.

That goes for you, Jamie and anyone else who cares to partake of the chatbox.

It is not a fighting ground to air your grievances - that is what the flamebox is for. The chatbox is a place to hang out, chill and relax.

It would be appreciated if the chatbox could return to that state and if all ego's could be left at the door.
