Nice that Ian Bell could make a few runs at the end. It was a thoroughly good team performance from England. Lets hope for a repeat performance in Nagpur .

Nagpur is forecast to be a result pitch so 3-1 or 2-2 seems likely

Finn is an injury doubt with a back strain.If he fails a late fitness test,expect a safety first policy with Bresnan to come in ahead of Onions or a debut for Meaker.

Joe Root. I've never understood how the selectors rated so highly: however this morning he has managed the Indian spinners brilliantly.

'Cos he can bat all day when he's 'in the zone'.Doesn't score runs rapidly generally but has his moments now and then,very good 'team player'.Only 22years old I think ,tipped for a big future by a lot of people .
Oh and he's a Yorkshireman!

After being 139/5 just after tea yesterday, England should be pretty happy with reaching 330 all out.
