This contest has included the longest frame in this years competition.

It takes me back to the age of Terry Griffiths

Yep, miserable. BBC has also made some odd decisions on which matches are shown live on BBC 1, 2 and 4 too. About 20 minutes of Selby V Allen match live prior to the the last 2 frames of that game was one I found particularly odd bladewave

There have been some errors for sure but Wilson has played decent match snooker to claw back to 8-8. Robertson could have run away with it but Wilson doggedly stifled the momentum and has given himself a chance.

Wilson did indeed do well, as did McGill.

Kyren Wilson has stormed into the semi finals.
A five frame unanswered salvo this morning has sealed a surprise 13-8 victory over Neil Robertson.
Wow SurprisedSurprisedSurprised.

Meanwhile Mark Selby has thrashed Mark Williams 13-3 with a session to spare.

Wilson had shaved to try and look less like a weasel. Robbo might want to consider a haircut himself. I wouldn't put it past him to try a mohawk before he's done. They reckoned he'd never even made the semi-finals since 2010, which is pathetic if true.

Stuart Bingham has recovered from 7-9 down to beat Anthony McGill 13-12 and book a semi final against Mark Selby.

He's definitely under achieved for his talent and he's never come close to winning again which is pathetic. But I think they're wrong about his semi final record. Lost to Selby in the semis in 2014 if I remember right. Played Trump in the round before where he made his 100 century of the season.

Shaun Murphy held his nerve in the face of a Judd Trump onslaught to claim a 13-11 victory and set up a clash with Kyren Wilson.
