It still doesn't look like the Russian airforce to me. It looked like the kind of outfit that air hostesses in the past really did wear. And I still think she looked fantastic in it.

Yeah it's a sexy retro air hostess outfit 100% as that's a classic sex fantasy outfit whereas a Russian airforce pilot outfit isn't a sex fantasy outfit and neither is it COSPLAY!!! cosplay is dressing up as your fav character from a film, tv show, video game or animation. Not wearing a retro air hostess outfit which is a sex fantasy. Plus Maria wouldn't want to wear anything that would upset people in regards to the horrific situation in the Ukraine and the Xpanded bosses wouldn't want a backlash from people over the Ukraine situation. Complete & utter nonsense and ridiculous and baffling to say Maria is dressed as something from Russia!!! Talk about putting 2+2 together and getting 1,000,000

Don't like people who go trying to find offence when there isn't any offence to be found like with Maria's RETRO AIR HOSTESS OUTFIT!!!!!

Maria most certainly was not portraying a character, (which in this case would be a member of the Russian airforce) which is the very definition of cosplay is it not?

In these times of heightened tensions it would have been pretty crass and plain stupid of Xpanded to have allowed Maria to appear on screen if she was wearing what has been described as like a Russian airforce uniform would it not?

Not wanting to be a white knight or anything but it sounds to me like they were just fobbing you off.

She wore the outfit for over an hour on the nightshow (plus whatever time pre-watershed) so was due to change anyway, as they always makes multiple changes a night. And I can't recall Maria ever wearing the same outfit twice in a row, so it wouldn't have been worn tonight anyway.

Honestly looked like a 30s/40s air hostess uniform, the cap style certainly was not exclusive to the Russian airforce (as wasn't the tight dress part either )
