RE: Football League: Discussion
we were piss poor yesterday we were fortunate to only lose 2-0, our strikers can't hit a barn door with a banjo and now our defence which has been so good for a year is not as solid as it was, we sold our top scorer andre gray to brentford and we are struggling without him, early days still so a couple of wins and we'll be back in the top half of the table

A gutsy win for Wolves against Bolton today keeps things ticking over at Molineux.
After controlling the first half and playing some fine football with a 1-0 lead Nouha Dicko went off injured at the break and Wolves had to see out an onslaught in the second half.
Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme had to make an exceptional double stop from a Bolton penalty and from that moment on it was very tense but thankfully the home side saw the job through to seal another three points and maintain an encouraging start to the season.
The tough games just keep coming however.
Reading away next week is a big test of the Wolves mettle.

another 1-0 win for us and another clean sheet, we seem to be very solid defensively but we need to take more of our chances as we won't win 1-0 every week

A valuable point at Reading for Wolves today in a dramatic goalfest. In a game where Wolves were unusually fragile in defence it could so easily have resulted in a defeat but a draw keeps the momentum going.
The priority in a game like the one we had today was not to lose.
At this stage Wolves are chugging along at 2 points a game.
Reason to be positive and grateful.
18 points from 9 matches represents a pleasing start.

Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan wants to sign Leyton Orient's manager Russell Slade.
However there's still a dispute over compensation.

RE: Football League: Discussion
After an encouraging start to the season Wolves now appear to have hit a wall.
8 goals conceded in 3 matches. Two draws and a defeat out of one away match and two at home.
The defensive solidity has gone on vacation and teams seemed to have sussed us out.
Now the hard work really begins to develop a plan B and C and beyond. No desperate need for panic yet but certainly things to work on.

RE: Football League: Discussion
we got another good point this weekend as Walsall are one of the better sides we have played this year, i think anyone who has won at the bescot this season has done well,
and it was very good to see that we had the highest away support in the hole football league at the weekend with 1979 making the trip Cool
