I'm not sure how we are going to approach the game tomorrow because if we go all out attack then players like Bale and Lennon will take us apart on the counter attack and it may be a bit risky trying to contain Spurs because we haven't been good defensively this season, but I think it may be the better alternative. Perch will be a key player tomorrow and we need him to make life difficult for Holtby and we also need Goufran and Gutierrez to double team Bale and Lennon. I hope Pardew doesn't just concentrate all his attention marking Bale out of the game because Holtby and Lennon are more than capable of inflicting damage on us tomorrow.

I think Spurs will win 2-1 on the day.

I think you'll beat us tomorrow or it will probably end up a draw.

With our away record this season, I doubt it.

Sport pages were saying today that Rafa will be sacked if Chelsea lose against Wigan and replaced by Martinez! Can see Abramovitch getting rid but Martinez as a replacement would be somewhat of a surprise!

I'd love to see Roberto Martinez given a chance at a club who are in or around the top 4, I thinks he's gonna be a very good manager over the coming years. I wanted him at Liverpool instead of Rodgers.

It seriously annoys me when the press just throw shit at some of the managers who 'Fail' at Chelsea. Rafael Benítez, Andre Villas-Boas & Luiz Felipe Scolari aren't shit by any standards, Rafa is one of the best tactitions in the game today, Villas-Boas is a very young manager who's had a good start to what should be a 30+ year career in the game & World Cup winner Scolari has averaged around 50% success over the last 10 years.

I've said for a while that I can see Martinez as a good shout for the England job some day, but he needs to move somewhere other than Wigan to get any chance.
No disrepect to Wigan, they are a decent club living within their means and doing the best they can with that, but there just isn't the money available to invest to take the team beyond a relegation battle every year. Without Martinez, I doubt they'd even be in the premiership still.

As for the Chelsea job (IF that should become a possibility, we all know what paper talk can be like), I'm not sure that would be the right move. I still see a big team rebuilding job there over the next few seasons, but will any manager be given the time to complete such a mission, seems unlikely.
Anyhow, rumour the other day was that Chelsea were targetting the Juventus manager Conte (who is allegedly now in the frame at Real Madrid as well).

I've heard Moyes could go Chelsea and Martinez to Everton.

Great win for my club Spurs and credit to Newcastle too they have the shaping of a good squad.

Well I'm disappointed that he gave away that silly winning goal to Spurs because it looked like we were doing well to contain them. Colocinni should have been just as aggressive as Bale to the win that ball and as soon as I saw Bale win that battle I knew he was going to score. It was a very good game though and we played reasonably well particularly in the first half, but our attacking threat just seemed to disappear when Gouffran came off and this allowed Spurs more control of the game and looked more likely to get a winner.

Its not the end of the world that we lost to Spurs and we shouldn't be totally demoralised by losing to a team that is flying high in the table. But it would have been good to carry on the momentum from our last two wins and try and create as much as space as we can from the bottom three. We still have a lot of work to do till the end of the season to get out of trouble, but our last three performances since the Reading game gives me confidence that we will escape relegation. Southampton will be a big game in two weeks time and lets hope that Ben Arfa and Gouffran will be back from that game. Anyway, its best we concentrate on getting a first leg lead this Thursday against Metalist in the Europa League and progress as far as we can in that cup.

Gareth Bale is a poor mans Ronaldo Smile I was impressed with southampton today, they look a lot better team with Pochettino they could have beat united and completely outplayed City.

Chelsea will probably target klopp as he is the next best thing to pep, wish we get klopp though if Wenger suprisingly decides to quit this summer
