New Zealand got off to a steady start however Ross Taylor unbeaten century and good lower batting boosted the score to 302 which is a good score. Pakistan start was a disastar as they slump to 66/6 and were never in the hunt really.

this was a truly excellent innings by ross taylor. the siege at the end, 100 runs from the last 29 balls!!!! Absolutely incredible hitting

Netherlands 189 all out off 46.4 overs

India 191/5 off 36.3 overs

India won by 5 wickets


Netherlands got off to a steady start by putting 56 runs for the 1st wicket however they lost too many wickets after that and were bowled out for 189 which is pretty poor. India got to a flying start by putting 69 runs for the 1st wicket in 7 overs however they suffered a mini collapse from 69/0 to 99/4 however it was plain sailing in the end as they were chasing a modest score really.

That Ross Taylor knock against Pakistan was quite something. Dropped twice early on but went berserk in the last 7 overs. Helped by some rather shoddy bowling but nonetheless some amazing hitting changed the whole complexion of the match.

I didn't wanna embarass him further by stating that one. The nick off ross taylor when he was like 4 not out was bad enough. He is shit though Kamran Akmal. His constant chattering awaw at the wicket is fucking annoying also. I hope Pakistan get stuffed like they did against new zealand again by someone else in their group and then get dumped out of the group since.

Come on India (since i'm indian) and England (because i was born and bred in the UK)!!!!!

Strauss isn't saying who is going to be his opening partner in the Bangladesh match.
My money is on Ravi Bopara moving up the order.

Akmals keeping was bad on tuesday but it was nothing in comparison to his performance in a test match against Australia a few months back, a game pakistan was odds on to WIN! He put down Mike Hussey three times and then refused? to run him out even though he was THREE yards out of his ground. Australia were only 34 ahead with 2 wickets left, Hussey went on to score a century and Pakistan collapsed to 139 all out and lost by 36 runs.

Sri Lanka 327/6 off 50 overs

Zimbabwe 188 all out off 39 overs

Sri Lanka won by 139 runs


Sri Lanka put on a massive opening partnership which was worth 282 runs for the 1st wicket however then they end it up on 327/6 which is still a good score however i feel they could have scored more runs and kept more wickets in hand. Zimbabwe themselves put a century stand however once the wicket fell at 116 then they collapsed to 188 all out.
