BabestationX - the webshow

If its true that Babestation cannot advertise then if, and I say if, the channel becomes a commercial success they can drop the advertising on the channels. I guess they have to advertise to start with to get a foot hold.

We're still finding our feet with the show format, and obviously each girl has her own limits of what she will, and won't do. As some of you mentioned, the content around the live shows is now the harder versions, obviously what we couldn't show you on TV.

BS, take note of the official rules posted by munch1917 concerning advertising hard core material on free to air channels before you lot fuck up the free to air channels as well, you cannot advertise R18 material or it's equivalent on free to air babe channels, only under encryption/restricted access channels can you promote hard core pornography , i'm sure you don't want rival broadcasters complaining to the authorities about you're free to air channels like you say they did about the BSX TV channel, so be careful of what you promote/advertise concerning the BSX web show, the BSX web shows cannot be legally hard core in any shape or form if you advertise them on the regular BS TV channels, it won't just be just the BSX channel that gets shut down by the authorities as you claim if you start promoting hard core web shows on free to air TV ...

Seen TVX and Playboy advertising their websites on the nightly "free" sections that start at 10 ? is that different

After reading all the above, i do get it, but.....

Surely the BabestationX website has been advertised on the freeview channels for a long time, and that site has allways been Hardcore. Its only the live shows and the movies when shown on freeview that were softcore.

As far as I am aware the website has allways had the hardcore versions of the movies they showed on freeview, and they have been advertising joining the website for £1.50 on fta for months if not years.

So based on that, I see not real change.....

Yer and as I mention below you, the BSX website like TVX has allways been hardcore, and has been promoted for a long time on the Sky and freeview channels. As you say the TVX website is totally hardcore....

I just dont think maybe that law is enforced much by the look of it, as I think both TVX and Playboy and Babestaion would have been shut down years ago. Maybe its because you still need to join the site (encrypted) to see the material. Maybe different if they were advertising hardcore porn that was unencrypted...

Also I would think that Ofcom are just pleased they got BSX off freeview. I doubt they will continue to hound them if they are now internet only. After all they won...

But isn't it OK because any hard material available on the website need age verification to view?

Yes up to recently i thought that was the case as well, like what's been pointed out by people in previous posts TVX/Red Hot's websites are hard core and they advertise their websites on TV, but recently Ofcom seem to have been cracking down on R18 material being advertised on the free to air phone in babe channels, like i said in a previous post Studio 66 was found in breach for advertising pics/vids that were R18 in nature that you could only download to you're mobile if it was adult verified, Ofcom said they did not regard adult verified mobiles as adequate protection against under 18's being able view R18 material, so they found Studio 66 in breach, adult verified mobile phones are one method used to pay for BSX which Ofcom do not recognise as a safe way to purchase and watch R18 adult content .

I wonder if it's because the phone in babe channels are classed as advertisement teleshopping channels so cannot promote R18 websites, ?, TVX/Red Hot are not classed as teleshopping channels and they are not advertised on live phone in teleshopping classed channels, so have more leeway, that's why their 10min freeview ads can show harder content and use bad language etc compared to the phone in babe channels .
BS had to stop advertising their girls websites on TV a few years ago because some were R18 in content, even though the websites were age verified they still had to stop promoting them on the free to air phone in babe channels .

If i'm not mistaken Studio 66 doesn't give links out on TV any longer to it's age verified website these days or promote on TV their web cam girls either, is this because they can't advertise their web site address on unencrypted babe channels because it contains R18 content ? .
I don't think any of the phone in babe channels apart from BS now promote/advertise anything R18 in content on TV, i could be wrong though . BS probably get away with it because of their Dutch licenses .

{edit} Just had a look through some previous in breach rulings, TVX/Red Hot were found in breach a few years ago for advertising links to hard core websites during their free to view adverts, mainly because the websites didn't have adequate age verification methods in place, so maybe BSX can promote their hard core shows on TV ?, although Ofcom still don't recognise the adult verified mobile phone method as adequate protection, but if that is the case why can't BS advertise the girls websites any longer ? .

I've been watching the show tonight and Dionne has been pretty good. She's just ending her first section. From what I've seen so far it's basically the same show we used to get on freeview 174. Not the tamer version of the last 6 weeks, but what we used to get on freeview before that.

So far really good show! I am pretty sure we are getting dildo's and penetration in the next section.... cause i could be wrong, but this shit is pretty good so far!
