RE: Tour de France
THis stage is the one in which all French riders want to win.

But it didn't happen, as Simon Yates dropped the rest of his breakaway group on the Massif Central's last climb of the day to win the stage.

Irish declared rider Ben Healey was also in the breakaway and the time gained was enough to give him the Maillot Jaune.

Tadej Pogacar is now 29 secs behind Healey.

RE: Tour de France
Mauro Schmid (Jayco AlUla) and Jonas Abrahamsen (Uno-X Mobility) lead from the start to finish. They were nearly caught at the finish at Toulouse by Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) who came 3rd 7 seconds behind. Abrahamsen ended up as the winner.
Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) crashed, but thanks to a good team effort he finished in the same time as his GC rivals.

RE: Tour de France
Pogacar had crashed in the last stage, but had recovered to own this one. He rode away from everyone up the last mountain to Hautacam to retake the leader's yellow jersey from Ben Healy. He left his team mates halfway up the climb and no-one else could stop with him.

He made the big statement that he was the outstanding GC rider by finishing two minutes and 10 seconds ahead of arch rival Jonas Vingegaard.

This was the stage that has won the tour for Pogacar.

Today's stage13 is an individual time trial from Loudenvielle to Peyragudes. It's only 10.9 km in length but there's climbs to challenge the riders.

RE: Tour de France
Tour leader Tadej Pogacar really rubbed in his lead in the time trial.

He stretched his lead in the race to more than four minutes.

Jonas Vingegard and Remco Evenepoel continued in 2nd and 3rd place.

RE: Tour de France
Dutch rider Thymen Arensman climbed to victory on the gruelling stage 14 of the Tour de France in the Pyrenees on Saturday as the yellow jersey Tadej Pogacar extended his overall race lead.

After crossing the line Arensman flung himself to the ground exhausted after taking a first win on this Tour for British team Ineos. This will give them a little boast after a dismal tour.
