Bloody hell sounds like
A) Bits of cars are being stolen to order
B) Someone's doing a re build and they thought a catalyst is a requirement!!
C) stole to it just for the metal!!
how much is new one going to cost?
It was probably stolen for its scrap value, because of method used i have to replace both front and rear sections and of course the catalyst it self so it looks like the cost will be around £200,perhaps i could put a compensation claim to BS for all the proper climax stints no longer shown on Sky BS1 to help towards the cost of the damage to my car, although that may not be much to some people it is to me,particularly when i have to spend it on a car that is fifteen years old and would probably only be worth £500 in full working order.

I'm not long off the phone to the hospital and it wasn't exactly the news I was looking for. The NHS is a fucking disgrace. Back in March I had a pre op assessment for my forthcoming second operation to remove a screw out of my left ankle, hardly what you'd call major surgery and I have been told that the earliest I can expect the operation is August or September now after being told in March I'd probably be operated on in May or June Huh

^ And a pre-op assessment only lasts for 6 weeks. So you'll have to have another one Rolleyes

Sorry to hear that mate. Hope this doesn't sound arrogant but there can't be many people who understand the frustration of NHS waiting times more than me. You're right to post in this thread, cos I'm sure you're very pissed off about it, but at some point you're gonna have to focus on being patient and relaxing about your situation - otherwise you're going to drive yourself insane. It won't go any quicker if you stay pissed off. Trust me, you might have to wait longer than August or September. And you need to be ready for that eventuality.

I just think the whole idea of a 7 NHS service is going to be totally unworkable judging by SB's position and the level of service he's got over this...

^Do you get to stay off work a few extra months?

SB I don't know if you are still pursuing an injury claim but might be worth you talking to lawyers about the chances of being able to reclaim private medical costs if you went that route to get it done quicker. I know I got all of mine covered for an accident a couple of years ago. Appreciate you might not want to go down that route but just an idea. Your employers might also consider it if it got you back to work sooner (might be cheaper for them?) Assuming it's ready to be removed that is.

Or I could go into my toolbox and take the thing out myself. Afterall it hardly takes a medical degree to remove a screw laugh

To answer your question gunnar I have the option to return to work anytime I wish however the doctor will not commit himself to say it as I run the risk of making the injury worse, also he might fear that I sue him next if that be the case Wink
