I should wish a speedy recovery to Massimo Haidara of Newcastle. He got a nasty injury today from a McManaman tackle and some reports say he was unable to straighten his leg. I'm gutted as well that we lost the game today although Wigan just deserved to win, but they got their winner from a handball, but I guess these things happen and even out eventually by the end of the season. We still need two more wins to secure our Premier League survival even though we have a tough run in.

Yeah it is strange. Mind you I find it strange that no one has commented on Mancini sending out his deputy as he was too upset to talk to the media. Must be something in the air in Manchester

Dave Whelen, who had his career finished by a reckless tackle, has said that the tackle yesterday was "a fair one". Unbelievable

Blackburn have sacked Michael Appleton after 67 days in charge. That's three managers they've got rid of this season and three teams that Appleton has left. Unbelievable, or perhaps not with those muppets in charge

At least Michael Appleton lasted longer at Blackburn than he did at Blackpool. It's a pity he didn't stay with us (Portsmouth).
