Barton managed 2 red cards in a Premier League season, but so have many other players, such as Duncan Ferguson, Sol Campbell, Ben Thatcher, John Hartson, Vinnie Jones etc plus at least 3 goalkeepers.

Barton's a player who couldn't even make it a QPR, and he thinks he has any right at all to say bad things about Brazillian Football, I really hope he gets something he will never forget like a career ending challenge, he's a disgrace.

Yes how shocking that someone has an opinion about football. Maybe we should all cease to have opinions before Fernandez Esperenda wishes a terrible injury on us, just for daring to state our point of view.

Barton is right. Neymar is more of a Robinho than a Messi.

Whatever the failings of Joey Barton, he's clearly not as unsavoury a person as Fernandez Esperenda. I've never heard Barton wish harm on someone else just for expressing an opinion.

He's also right about Thiago Silva, he's overrated and constantly injured.

I do wonder what Michael Owen has been seeing this season in the PL, he tweeted yesterday that he voted for Bale (player of the year) based on consistency. I have no idea where he got that from, he's clearly not seen Suarez and Michu
