Studio 66 - Can it get any worse?

Must clear up, I meant they got desperate to keep Lilly a few months back, and let her do more than anyone else on s66 at the time to keep her. That was the impression I got. And I was not surprised she left days after the prom for USA began, because of the lack of interest from them, in her. RLC will make her feel welcome.

Which actually leads to the main problem with s66. Not caring enough about the models that keep them going. When they signed L+Y I was the one person who said, 'focusing all their attention on just two girls will upset every other model' why was it they were getting the producers attention and no one else was... Great girls, but there was an obvious bias towards production.

The USA thing furthers this, alot of the regular girls will feel surplus to requirements.

Claire Case and Amy were seen as a stop gap to plug the leaks during the holiday shoot.

Tara isn't being booked on nights, despite them needing more girls most nights

A close knit channel that cares about it's models?

Does anyone here know how the girls are paid? Like is it based on call ratios or hours worked during a shift? or by contract?

I ask this because my guess is that if a girl doesn't get shifts, I'm guessing she doesn't get paid or gets paid less then if she was scheduled to work a shift.

As everyone knows, there are always bills to be paid. So if they aren't getting shifts regularly when they want them, why would they stay at S66? The other channels would happily absorb most of S66's night roster.

With the addition of S66 USA removing yet another nightshow channel from UK girls, there are fewer slots to be filled by an otherwise excellent roster. Only 2 available night slots for most of the night could mean downsizing the already small roster of night girls.

Ashley and Lilly leaving makes total sense if this S66 USA channel is going to be a longterm investment for the studio. There simply won't be enough night slots for all the girls of the 4 channels, one is Goldengirls and another is to be S66 USA during nights.

Really hoping that we don't end up losing more this as it is getting hard to root for S66's decision making skills when favorites of mine are leaving for other channels.
I mean I only ask S66 deliver some simple things:
1. Have an excellent roster of girls and use them
2. Have a consistent webstream.
3. Mix sets or have girls rotate outfits so we don't get a girl wearing what looks to be the same thing week after week.

Those are the basics I want covered which they've been failing at it fairly regularly since the website revamp.

As for bonus things I want/like are:
1. Naked babes are always thrilling to watch/call in on.
2. Oil is excellent means of showing curves which we like seeing.
3. When world events take place like the World Cup, some occasional themed sets/props/outfits wouldn't hurt. Don't need to break the bank, but at least show some effort.

If S66 is running out of ideas of what to do, ask your girls a few things that they'd like to do for shows and get your viewers or callers to vote on what they'd like to see/call in for. This way girls are doing something they are comfortable with and guys get some shows that we've been waiting for.

This voting could take place over a week and the show could be couple days or on a weekend to maximize calls. Examples off the top of my head would be:
Oil + Bikinis?
Shower + Bikinis?
Alleyway set + Dom show?

We just want practical reasonable steps forward, so stop trying to reinvent the wheel as it is getting annoying when other channels are consistent and able to deliver decent content regularly without fail.

Just use what you have and use it well.

You just preaching to the masses. Most of us are just facepalming our heads with you on the current state of events.

I have been critical of the channel recently like most... well 99% of the viewers But i did hold out hope that the channel could improve!! However when you get babeshow stalwarts like Ashley, Lilly and probably Claire all leaving, that has to set the alarm bells going!!

These girls, Lilly in particular have been around a lot of channels and are all reliable in terms of turning up, which is not as trivial as it sounds! They more than anybody know how a channel should be ran from the inside. So for them to leave at the same time, makes me think that the problems are terminal.

I agree that the USA channel seems one last desperate roll of the dice. Sadly i think it is doomed to fail. I would be amazed if the channel was still running at the end of the year. It all feels very much like the end of bluebird.

Snookered and TickletheOrc - thank you for articulating better than I could.

For me Lily leaving is quite telling. I assume she is a London girl and therefore she is home and in her own bed after the show. She has taken a job at RLC which means 3 hours travel at either end of the day and stopovers in Bristol.

I've worked away from home off and on for the last 8 years. Hotels sound great to start with but after a while you start to hate it.

Lily was has made the choice to distrupt her life (and the money may be marginally better - who knows) rather than stay at S66.

Perhaps the long term goal is to abandon the UK operation? Go completely web only with US porn stars doing proper shows. This way S66 are creating a fan base which will allow them to get a jump on the very competitive world wide webcam studios.

But I'm guessing, if S66 have a strategy it is kind of a mystery at the moment
