I agree with what you say re civil liberties, but its also our civil liberty to go out on a Saturday night and have a meal/drink or attend a pop concert without such things occurring. The bravery of those people who fought off the attackers is unbelievable and should be honoured (as should the emergency services who responded so quickly & selflessly), but it shouldn't necessary surely to have to defend ourselves in such a way.

Education is what's needed. We need to educate all of them that this is wrong. They have all been brainwashed into believing something is right when it isn't & we need all the jihadist's on an education programme which they must attend on a weekly basis or face prosecution.
