Is Anyone Else Getting Bored Of The Night Shows?

Am I bored of the night shows?
The real question might be this - Did you too watch a particular babe far too much and too often and now are suffering hideous withdrawal symptoms 'cos she's not been on in ages? To which my answer would be, erm, no. Variety being l'epice de la vie, etc.
Or maybe it should be this - Do you look at porn far too much and, having seen FAR too many tits 'n bits this last few weeks, are now suffering from 'tit-shock' and can no longer become aroused by the sight of a naked woman? What , REALLY? Oh wow... erm, well done, I think....
Don't know if I agree with the contention that there are too many porn stars on nights, aren't there? Yes, a lot of the babes sure qualify as glamour models, but there are only a handful of true porn stars. Tammy, Michelle, Lolly, Jem, erm... struggling now. Alright, there are actually quite a few, but it's like Spitfires innit? we think of the 1940 skies as being full of 'em, in fact more hurricanes brought down more enemy aircraft, etc. Non-porn-stars are like Hawker Hurricanes. In fact, there are some great-looking natural girls like Tia and Honey on channels like TVX and, to the best of my knowledge, they've not done porn. There are more like them - no, not like them... in the same category, I should have said. oops
Where am I going with this? Nowhere Central, would be the normal reply. But, I feel an answer coming on - no, wait; it's wind <BEEEELLCH!!!> There! that's much better - and I certainly ain't bored yet; there's too much choice and i refuse to allow myself to be seduced purely by one 'Babe-type' or, indeed, consider any one particular babe to be my 'kind of special girlfriend'. Plus, I call in fairly frequently and enjoy the experience so I've nearly forgotten how it can get just watching the girls with an ever-growing sense of frustration at there being so little plot development.
My advice if you're bored? Pick up the phone, fantasise with the hottest girl and influence the outcome that way. A sense of interactivity - becoming part of the show - goes a long way to changing one's view of the night shows.

As night shows go I think the real Issue with people getting bored is sometimes pre-determined, unrealistic expectations that just can't be bettered, for example the shows generally speaking on a Monday night can very often be very low key, subdued and uneventful in comparison to the weekend shows and leaves many people disappointed. To expect 5 star shows each night is simply unrealistic and also its down to the choice of models on show that evening, many of you will have probably have noticed that not all models are as willing to push the boundaries as much as others do, but the shows over the past year have improved massively. It would be great if one day we could see an end to ofcom so we could actually see those shows maximised to their full potential as if all restrictions were lifted I could see the real possibility of the uk babe channels being the strongest and best in europe and if that were to happen I don't think as many people would be bored with the night shows any more.

It looks like the shows are stagnating again. With the "will she, won't she" debate a year ago about Danica's extended day shows which then became partial night shows and then the tits fully out and nude, there was a wave of excitement and a real buzz about the shows caused by that, but that has died right down.

That was replaced by the expectation and hope that BB (still a bad word here?) would be the saviour, or at very least the make-or-break for babe shows. The reality is that while OFCOM are the boss, even they have to fall into line. Their countless channels with 20+ girls every night have been eroded down to 4 and moulded into the standard format, although it could be argued that their lack of quality broadcast is mitigated by slightly more interesting (if slightly blurry) sets.

Meanwhile, BangBabes have gone to pot with losses of some star performers and the reorganisation of their channels resulting in some pretty shabby practices such as putting recordings on one channel.

What have we learned in the past year? That Danica does indeed have nipples. That Babestation will probably always be the stalwart that gets the balance between good performances, picture quality and popular girls just right. That the unmentionable avian primary colour channel are not able to push the boundaries and have not revolutionized anything contrary to their claims. Neither has Bob Paradiso, even though he promised us a channel of the highest quality on these here forums. That said, I quite like their product. When that damn advert isn't rolling at least...

So what will the future hold? Well, having watched these shows since the days of full frontal nudity (on some of the less watched channels) and recorded "striptease" segments on SexStation, through the "2 pairs of knickers" era, and failed experiments involving asian, north and south american girls, and even men, things have slowly drifted back to normal. The boundaries have been pushed back to prolonged topless and (implied) nudity, and although things are "stuck" here just now, you can rest assured that the parameters will change again in the future.

What the channels can do though is the big question. How creative can they get?

"Girl" (ie other employee) callers is overused already and isn't generally a popular choice.

BDSM show is now a regular on BangBabes.

Oil, cream, food, spit have been done.

Different "theme" nights might be nice. I remember a BangBabes "army" weekend going down very well a few years ago. Although you can bet that come Halloween and Christmas, the bunny ears, devil horns and santa hats will be out in force. Again.

Themed channels - difficult to impliment but the "over 50s" always seems to be busy enough. I don't know if a "barely legal" channel would be viable or even allowed, and I doubt the big players would go for it. Fetishes would get very boring aftere a while. Perhaps one channel could manage one night where there are a couple of hours for feet, or for heavily pierced/tattooed or uniformed girls. Rather than the ad-hoc versions of this that pop up whenever on different channels.

Introducing new girls is always popular with viewers and callers, and new starts will cost less than established "big name" girls. This is bound to happen.

Perhaps introducing lower priced separate eavesdrop-only numbers would encourage more callers who might not always phone in at £1.50p/m.

Shortening the "intros" would encourage more calls too. It's £1.50 + VAT on your bill before you even get to the menu on most channels.

New sets are cost-intensive and will not be popular with channel managers. That said, creativity cannot be hard to do - a paddling pool filled with oil or fake mud would be awesome and cost under £20.

HD and 3D technology is possible, but probably unrealistic at this time due to costs.

2-4-1s or even 3-4-1s are always popular, but they increase spending on wages, and again there will have to be careful use of these by producers to maximise profit.

Unless OFCOM relax the rules on nudity, we are stuck with clothed, T+A only or covered genitalia.

At this moment, I'd settle for some re-designed screen graphics every few months, just to keep things fresh.

The future is always something nobody can predict, patience however can prove to be very frustrating too. Take eurotic tv for example about a year ago the night shows were heavily censored and even more so than the uk shows at one point but the rules changed again at the end of 2009 and shows again become more interesting as the rules regarding full nudity relaxed. The same is possible in the UK but it would involve some kind of consultation between the babe channels and ofcom to hammer out a deal rather than this constant paranoia that the babe channels have to go through each night always wondering the next day whether or not ofcom will come knocking on the door. Its almost like trying to avoid the taxman in many ways but it does hamper the shows which shouldn't have to put up with these restrictions. These channels are blatantly clear that they are for Adults only so they should be allowed to serve the purpose, constant prejudice towards them by ofcom is not being democratic or fair. For the time being its Tits and Ass only but hopefully that'll change in the future.

Now Charlie O'Neal is back from holiday, I can't wait to see her team up with Caty Cole again. Paige is always great fun to watch, so if these ladies are not on, it is a very boring night for me.

Out of the free-to-air phone sex/chat channels, pay-per-view adult channels and video-on-demand websites, it's the pay-per-view adult channels that need to offer something different, not the free-to-air channels...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the premium rate format for the free-to-air channels is a limited marketplace. There are only so many viewers that will call or listen in, no matter what the girls do or say onscreen, and most channel bosses know this to be true.

I did a lot of research and considered the premium rate format for my alternative adult project, but I just don't see how it would work. The pay-per-view channels and/or video-on-demand websites look like the only viable options, which will very likely be the case with most new and alternative projects in the future.

To be honest, I often cant tell the difference between a show at 10pm and on at 2am because the content is usually the same. And it would be difficult to look at a recording from any day in the last week and guess which because to a large extent the models dress the same from the moment their Producer says "Adult Show" to 5:30am and the same each time they appear, and finally they are so constrained in how they can move safely that often they limit themselves to exactly the same 3 "safe" poses - lying on back and wave legs in air, kneel away from camera and wiggle arse, lie sideways, stand up.

I know people will rush to list exceptions, and yes there are models who vary costumes, and different sets, but mostly its same, same, same.
