Ugh! My god that amount of chocolate just makes me feel ill just thinking about it. The Milky Way in the USA is actually a MARS Bar in this country which is most confusing but American chocolate is dire compared to European chocolate and I have to say ours is the best around.

Is there any coincidence in the fact that the quality of Cadbury’s has declined so much since their takeover by an American company?

I’m sorry but Americans are clueless when it comes to making chocolate. Exhibit A : Hershey’s chocolate - the smell alone put me off it...so reminiscent of vomit it was frightening.

Hershey's is rank, tastes like it's made with off ingredients. I think the only one I've tried that's okay is the Reese's Pieces, saved by the peanut butter.

Remember reading somewhere that Hershey’s chocolate contains a chemical called butyric acid.

Nasty fact : Butyric acid is also found in...yes you guessed it...vomit!

No "allegedly" about it.... I live only a few miles from their Bournville factory, & know of several ex-workers who were screwed over, hence why they no longer work there.

Agree with all that Kraft or Mondelez as it is now completely destroyed Cadbury's and really screwed over the workers. Stupid bitch that used to run Nicola someone refused to face a Committee so that shows you the sort of person SHE is/was and yet people still continue to buy the products and no doubt they made a mint out Christmas sales.
