2 - Nottingham Forest
Just the 3 films, but at least some of them, like the pizza dog, and the fried chicken option, looked worth sampling. He gave stilton the thumbs up too.

3 - Chelsea
To West London, for a cabbies' doorstep sandwich, a fine diners' scotch egg, and a fancy lamb kebab. But he disliked the Chelsea bun.

5.7 The semi-final takes our 6 heat winners plus wildcard choice up to the Firth of Cromarty, still without Kate (though she's had the baby). Three women get picked for the final, including the wildcard.
LAotY 2019
5.8 The final takes up where a previous commission left off, making the three contestants do a picture of Battersea Power Station overnight. The younger lady flags less than the two older ladies, and her commission is a bit better. Joan Bakewell announces the prize just before announcing the winner, which must be gutting to the two losers. "Here's a £10k commission & a trip to Venice... which 2 of you won't be going on".

The Bottom Line
Steve Clemons talks first to Tevi Troy and Niall Strange about the Trump agenda, and then to Charles Dunne about the prospects for the Gaza ceasefire.

13/20 Fujiko Rose returns to talk on Botanical Flowers, which look a bit trickier than most other topics.
14/20 Morag Caister returns to talk on Painting With Lines, and even has a live model to work with, though it seems both a bit boring and a bit under-skilled.
AotY - M
15/20 Adebunji Alade returns to demonstrate painting Figures in Landscape, which looked strangely more plausible than I'd have thought.
16/20 Phoebe Hicks is tasked with Child Portraiture, and she does a largely charcoal based gem based on a photo of her son.

Boris Karloff - The Man Behind The Monster
How a jobbing actor found a star-making role, and battled his way through to longevity. Like Cushing, Lugosi, Price, etc he was in fact a nice guy IRL. Many directors were among the THs here, Landis, del Toro and Dante were appreciative, whilst Corman and Bogdanovich got to work with him, as did actors like Ian Ogilvy and the late & great Dick Miller.
