RE: What is now the point of these channels
A recent post I made as fallen foul of the moderators. In it I described one of the models as a fat girl. It wasn't very long before I received the Private Message telling me that my post had been censored, not because it said anything that wasn't true and honest, but because other members had complained about me calling the model fat, and that I was being to "blunt". In her reply, the model In question didn't mind at all. But what I wrote was relevant and It hadn't been said in a nasty way and she must have understood that. But as I said other members had taken umbridge at my remark, hence the word "fat" being removed from the post.
Is it not a case of 'What is the point of these channels' more 'what is the point of this forum' if fellow members become censors and decide what should be included and what should not.
Why do some people think that these girls need protecting from any remark that is likely to be made about them just because they are a favourite model of theirs. This particular model, by her own admission is overweight. And she also gets naked on TV for a living. My point is, some members are not far removed from Ofcoms way of thinking on deciding what we should , and what we should not read.

RE: What is now the point of these channels
For me, the key thing which really gets to me, is that the government " Ofcom" are not allowing Adults over the age of 18yrs of age are Demorcratic rights to choose what we want to watch I feel as though Ofcom are trying to police British Society, i get the feeling they want to protect us, and try to keep us from harm
What they are doing is they are taking away are Democratic rights to choose what we can and cannot watch and this is Totally and Utterly Wrong
Look we don't live in a perfect world, they'll always be homosexuals in this world and they'll always be pornography its that simple the fact that Ofcom thinks a woman's Vagina and Lesbian 241 action is causing harm and offence is the Biggest Pile of Shit I've heard These Adult channels are under the SKY EPG, and if some irresponsible parent leaves there children the remote control and go's off, only to walk back in the room and see's them watching Adult content, it's not the channels which are at fault, it's the PARENTS

I agree, but I will say that usually the mods will tell you before they censor your comments anyway. It's a bit lame of other members to complain to the mods about comments, as they should be complaining to the actual person who posted the comments first, and if that member tells them no, then the complaining member should just deal with it. I've never complained about any of the members here, or about any of their comments, and the only time I've ever asked a member to alter their comments is when they've revealed too much about slips in the Elite thread, because we've seen how other channels can use that against them to make complaints. Those members altered their comments, since they didn't really know about the whole complaints from rival channels. Lately, I couldn't be arsed to ask a member to not reveal too much, seeing how you can't be PMing every single person who reveals something. I don't see much point anymore.

RE: What is now the point of these channels
Let me make it clear mrmann the complaint was not directly to admin it was made in following posts but the complaints quoted my original post so they had to be censored also. Then admin decided my post would cause more complaints and censored the so-called offending word. So because of some members complaint and over zealous action by the mods I have been deprived of my fair say on this forum. Just like Ofcom deprive us each and every day.
