Channel 4 is showing a programme called My Phone Sex Secrets tonight at 10pm (11pm on +1).

It features some of the girls that work on the babeshows and talks about how these shows are booming in spite of the recession.

EDIT - ok NOT the girls that work on the shows, but the ones 'ready & waiting' 24hrs a day at home. this kind of shatters the illusion!

It was alright

^^^you didn't miss a great deal but it will be repeated sometime, probably on More4. it had a very British Carry On feel, but i was shocked by the women doing it in public - especially the woman in the supermarket

Just saw about 20 minutes of it last night. I was surprised that the women (at home) were sometimes doing it while out and about, shopping etc., by using their mobile phones to talk to customers. It did not surprise me that when at home, they were cooking, washing up etc. while talking on the phone.
I remember Tiffany "joking" on the Babestation mic a long time ago, that you could ring one of the numbers below to talk to some scrubber at home while she was doing her ironing.
From the figures given it looked like they charged about £3 per minute, and some of them earned over £500 per week doing it.
I could imagine some of the callers might stop calling if they saw this program.

even worse - some of our girls were watching and are now asking if they can work from home from now on!

I saw some of this, a couple of the girls were hot but seemed quite mental, especially that hippy girl. I haven't called those random phone sex lines for a long time and would never connect to the 'babes at home' option for £1.50 per minute when you can get phonesex with randoms for like 60p per minute in some places.
